There is no sin upon a Muslim in informing about the presence of pork derivatives in food products if he knows and is certain of it, because the prohibition of pork is a matter of consensus. What is required is to verify the existence of these derivatives by referring to specialists. A Muslim must seek out what is lawful and good in his food. What is known to be free of pork derivatives, there is no sin in consuming it. As for what is doubted, it is better to leave it.
