Is it permissible to work as an auditor for a perfume and cosmetics company for a sum of money, and what if the answer is that it is not permissible with regard to the money earned?

The work of an accountant in auditing perfume and makeup accounts depends on the ruling regarding their sale. If their sale is predominantly for forbidden use (displaying oneself to foreign men), then it is not permissible to work with them, due to Allah’s saying: (And cooperate in righteousness and piety, but do not cooperate in sin and aggression). However, if the predominant use is permissible (beautifying oneself at home and among women), then it is permissible. If it becomes clear that the work is forbidden, it is not permissible to benefit from any remaining money earned from it.
