What is the ruling on publishing funny video clips that are free from what Allah has forbidden, and that contain images of males or animals, for the purpose of entertainment?

If it contains falsehoods, then it is unlawful (haram). If it is true, then there is no harm in spreading it. However, it is better not to overdo it, for excessive laughter deadens the heart.
