The head of the grave should be aligned with the head of the deceased, which must be oriented towards the Qibla. So, if the Qibla is to the east, the head of the grave will be to the south. As for lowering the deceased into the grave, it should be done feet first if possible. Regarding lights in cemeteries, if they are for illumination and benefit those entering the cemetery, there is no harm in them. However, if they are for the veneration of graves, they are forbidden.
