What is the creed of Ibn al-Farid, Omar bin Ali bin Murshid al-Hamawi?

Ibn al-Farid is Sharaf al-Din Umar ibn Ali ibn Murshid al-Hamawi, an outspoken advocate of ittihad (union with God), who died in the year 632 AH. Imam al-Dhahabi and Al-Hafiz Ibn Hajar described him as a disbeliever due to the explicit advocacy of ittihad in his poetry. The doctrine of the Ittihadiyyah (Unionists) states that the Creator is united with the created, and that the existence of creatures is the very essence of God's existence. This contradicts Islam by denying God's existence and negating individual responsibility and religious obligations.
