What is the ruling on women replacing the niqab with a face mask?

A woman must cover her face and hands from foreign men, based on the Almighty’s saying: “O Prophet, tell your wives and your daughters and the women of the believers to bring down over themselves of their outer garments. That is more suitable that they will be known and not be abused. And ever is Allah Forgiving and Merciful.” The niqab is not sufficient to cover the entire face. So, whoever can cover her face with the niqab, must do so, otherwise she is sinful.
