What is meant by "Al-Fiqh Al-Akbar" and "Al-Fiqh Al-Absat" according to Abu Hanifa?

By "al-Fiqh al-Akbar" (the Greater Fiqh), the scholars mean the science of aqidah (creed) and the fundamentals of religion, because it is the foundation upon which religion is built. It is contrasted with "al-Fiqh al-Asghar" (the Lesser Fiqh), which is the fiqh of branches (amaliyyah) related to practical rulings. Imam Abu Hanifa named what he compiled in the fundamentals of religion "al-Fiqh al-Akbar" due to the immense need of people for it. Similarly, "al-Fiqh al-Absat," attributed to Abu Hanifa, is also about the fundamentals of religion.
