What is the religious program that would safeguard a student compelled to study abroad, religiously and intellectually, especially since his departure is in about a year?

It is not permissible to travel to the lands of the disbelievers for study except for one who has faith that protects him from desires and insight that protects him from doubts, and the ability to manifest his religion. The scholarship student is advised to be keen on righteous companionship, occupy his time with what benefits, search for Islamic centers and communicate with Muslims, not cut off ties with scholars, seek refuge in Allah and ask Him for protection from tribulations, marry when possible, be keen on lawful food and drink, invite to Allah, and feel Allah Almighty's constant watch.
