Is it permissible to obtain a fictitious certificate of experience from a friend in order to be able to enter a job interview, knowing that I did not work for him, that the social situation is bad, and that I am confident in my ability to succeed?

It is not permissible to issue a forged experience certificate due to the severe warnings contained therein. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, considered it among the greatest of major sins. One should strive to seek provision through lawful means, for every soul will receive its full provision. Provision should not be sought through disobedience to Allah, for what is with Allah can only be attained through obedience to Him.
