What must a husband do regarding his wife who allowed a non-mahram orphan, aged 16, to reside in the marital home without his consent, and she secludes herself with him unveiled until he returns late, and what is the Shar'i ruling on him if he does nothing?

Islam encourages sponsoring orphans and promises a great reward for it. A woman's eagerness to sponsor and care for an orphan is commendable with her husband's permission, as his consent is essential. A boy is not considered an orphan after reaching puberty. It is not permissible for the woman to be in seclusion with this boy. The husband must prevent such seclusion by moving the boy to a safe place, or by adopting the view of some scholars who permit the suckling of an adult only out of urgent necessity, and that the woman drinks the milk from a cup, thereby becoming his foster mother.
