What is the ruling on a vow that was made to refrain from looking at unlawful things, and do the two mentioned cases necessitate a vow? Is it permissible to annul a vow by delaying it, and what is its expiation? Can it be canceled by the parents' prohibition without me disclosing its wording to them?

This obsessive whispering (waswasah) is a severe illness and an incurable disease. Giving in to it leads a person to confusion and pathological doubt, and to distress and religious difficulty. Furthermore, the cancellation of a vow due to the prohibition of one of the parents is not something that any of the Sunnis have asserted.
