What is the ruling regarding the action of a former fiancée who broke off her engagement for no reason, and what should the suitor do who feels sadness and heartbreak because of this annulment, and how should she deal with the accusations of her former fiancé's mother about her appearance and morals?

All that befalls you is by Allah's decree, and Allah is more merciful to us and more knowledgeable of what is best for us. Do not grieve over the suitor, for perhaps Allah intended good for you by turning him away from you, and He will compensate you with someone better than him. And if the suitor's mother wrongs you, forgive her, for there is great good in forgiveness, and it is a way to attain Allah's forgiveness. Be patient and have a good opinion of Allah, for "whoever is righteous and patient - indeed, Allah does not allow to be lost the reward of those who do good."
