What is the ruling on wearing short trousers under an abaya or an ihram during prayer?

A woman must cover her entire body during prayer, except for her face and hands, based on the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "Allah does not accept the prayer of a menstruating woman except with a head covering (khimar)," and his saying in the Hadith of Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her): "Yes, if the dress is ample and covers the tops of her feet." Therefore, if the abaya or clothes cover what must be covered, the prayer is valid, and wearing short pants under the covering clothes does not affect the validity of the prayer.
