However, if he persists in his deviance, she may shun him until he mends his ways. As for her grandmother, she has no connection to what occurred, and the Muslim woman must maintain ties with her and treat her kindly. She can visit her while avoiding interaction with the uncle, or limit her interaction with him to merely exchanging greetings, or choose a time when he is absent to visit her grandmother.
