Is it permissible to wear black out of mourning for the deceased, especially if it was the husband?

Wearing black during calamities is a false and baseless practice. When afflicted by a calamity, a person should say: "Indeed, we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him we will return. O Allah, reward me for my calamity and replace it with something better." If one says this with faith and hope for reward, Allah will reward them and replace their loss with something better. As for wearing a specific garment, such as black, it has no basis and is a false and reprehensible matter.
