Is the first wife considered disobedient (nashiz) if she abandons the marital bed and refuses conjugal relations, demanding financial conditions that the husband cannot meet at present, knowing that he does not fall short in her financial rights? And is it permissible for the husband to spend every night with the second wife if the first wife relinquishes her right to overnight stay and intercourse, or must he spend the night alone in the first wife’s section?

A woman is not permitted to refuse her husband's bed without a legitimate Shariah-compliant reason, for a severe warning has been issued regarding this. Thus, your wife is not allowed to deny herself to you for the sake of material demands beyond the obligatory maintenance (nafaqa). As for a woman relinquishing her share of marital nights (qisma) to a co-wife, this is permissible with the husband's consent. However, if the wife refuses the marital bed because she has relinquished her turn to her co-wife, she is considered disobedient (nashiz) and her right to qisma is forfeited.
