The suitor's turning away might be good for you, for Allah knows and you do not know. Allah Almighty said: "And it may be that you dislike a thing which is good for you and that you like a thing which is bad for you. Allah knows but you do not know." There is no objection to your meeting him in the presence of your aunt and her daughters, provided you are veiled and no forbidden act according to Sharia occurs. Repentance and seeking forgiveness for sins are required in all circumstances. Allah Almighty said: "And said, 'Ask forgiveness of your Lord. Indeed, He is ever Forgiving. He will send [rain from] the sky upon you in [copious] showers And give you increase in wealth and children and make for you gardens and make for you rivers."
