How many times did the Messenger, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, perform the eclipse prayer for the moon?

There is no specification regarding the number of lunar eclipse prayers performed by the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him. It is understood from the words of some scholars that lunar eclipses occurred repeatedly during his time. Malik and those who agreed with him were of the opinion that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, did not pray the lunar eclipse in congregation, but rather prayed the solar eclipse in congregation. This is because lunar eclipses occur frequently, and it has not been narrated that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, gathered for it, nor has it been narrated from any of the Imams after him.
