Is completing the memorization of the Quran with sheikhs who follow the Sufi doctrine forbidden?

The student of knowledge should primarily choose from among the shaykhs those who possess sound belief and adherence to the Sunnah, in order to learn the Quran. If he cannot find such, then let him choose the best among those available who are proficient in the Quran, because Sufis are of different categories: some are committed to the religion, and some are charlatans.
