I am inquiring about a woman's fluids and their types, specifically normal secretions, madhiy (pre-ejaculate), and maniy (ejaculate), especially upon seeing a small white spot during ablution. What are the causes of madhiy and its ruling concerning ablution?

The discharges that exit a woman's private parts are of several types:

1. Madhī (pre-ejaculatory fluid): This is a thin, white fluid that is discharged when aroused. It is impure (najis) and necessitates Wudu' (ablution). 2. Wadī (post-urination fluid): This is a thick fluid that is discharged after urination. It is impure (najis) and necessitates Wudu'. 3. Manī (ejaculatory fluid/semen): This is a white fluid that is discharged upon intense arousal. It necessitates Ghusl (ritual bath), and the preponderant opinion is that it is pure (tahir). 4. Normal vaginal secretions: These are ordinary discharges that occur without a specific cause. They are pure (tahir) but invalidate Wudu'.

If a woman is afflicted with an abundance of discharges, her ruling is similar to that of a woman with istihadah (non-menstrual vaginal bleeding): she performs Wudu' for each prayer. There is no need for obsessive doubt if she is not certain about the type of discharge.
