Unlawful wealth must be disposed of by spending it on the poor and needy. It is permissible to give some of it to a poor and needy relative, such as a poor mother. She may be given from it according to her needs to purchase a refrigerator or other necessities. However, if she is not poor, it is not permissible to give her from it.
