Is the husband considered negligent in his wife's rights, knowing that he fulfills all her rights and demands? And does she have the right to claim financial rights (alimony and deferred dower) if she requests a divorce? And does the saying of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, apply to her: "Any woman who asks for divorce without a cause, the scent of Paradise will be forbidden to her"?

The right of a mother is great, and honoring her is among the most obligatory duties. Among the rights of a wife upon her husband is that he provide her with an independent dwelling where she will not be exposed to harm. The wife is not obligated to serve her husband's mother, and the husband does not have the right to force his wife to live with his mother in a single dwelling with shared facilities as long as she is being harmed. A wife leaving her home without her husband's permission is wrong behavior. A divorced wife has legitimate rights. The husband must combine honoring his mother with good companionship towards his wife. He must handle the matter wisely by providing an independent dwelling for his wife or housing his mother close to him. He must seek help from Allah and supplicate.
