ما هي خصائص اليوم الآخر؟

The Last Day is a day when Allah will gather all creation for accountability for their deeds. It has several characteristics, including: its عظمت (greatness) as described in the Quran; the terror and dread that will afflict people, to the extent that a nursing mother will forget her infant and a pregnant woman will miscarry; the severing of lineages; the readiness of disbelievers to ransom themselves with anything to escape torment; its prolonged duration, so much so that people will feel as if they had remained in the world for only an hour; the unveiling of truths and the lifting of veils; and finally, the manifestation of the Lord of Might to His servants and His direct communication with them, without an interpreter or a barrier.
