Is it a requirement for the non-Arab Muslim of foreign tongue to say "our father Abraham" in the Prophetic remembrance, or is it sufficient for him to say "and upon the religion of Abraham" given that he is not of his progeny?

It is prescribed for every Muslim to recite the supplication, "We have entered the morning upon the natural disposition of Islam... and upon the religion of our father Ibrahim," using the phrase "our father Ibrahim," whether the person is Arab or non-Arab. This is for several reasons, among them: Ibrahim (peace be upon him) is not only the father of the Arabs but also the father of the Children of Israel. Moreover, every prophet is in the position of a father to his nation and followers, and Allah Almighty has commanded us to follow his religion. In addition, he is the father of the prophets who came after him, thus serving as the spiritual father of nations. The fatherhood of religion and teaching takes precedence over the fatherhood of lineage.
