What is the religious ruling on treatment using pigeon guano?

Entering the hammam (a built house for bathing and therapy) is permissible for men with legitimate Islamic restrictions, namely, being safe from seeing or exposing awrat (private parts). Otherwise, it becomes disliked (makruh (definition)) or forbidden (haram (definition)). The proof for this is what Bahz ibn Hakim narrated from his father, from his grandfather, that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Guard your awrat except from your wife or what your right hand possesses." And his, peace and blessings be upon him, saying: "A man should not look at the private parts of another man, and a woman should not look at the private parts of another woman." And his, peace be upon him, saying: "Do not walk around naked."

As for women, they are not allowed to enter the hammam except for an excuse such as menstruation, postpartum bleeding (nifas (definition)), illness, or a need for bathing when she cannot bathe in her own home, provided she lowers her gaze and covers her awrat.
