Is it better for a female in the state of Ihram to say the Talbiyah quietly or aloud?

It is not prescribed for a female pilgrim in a state of ihram to raise her voice with the Talbiyah beyond what she can hear herself. Scholars are in consensus that the Sunnah for a woman is not to raise her voice, but rather she should only make herself hear. It is disliked for her to raise her voice louder than to be heard by her companion, according to the sound opinion of the madhhab.
