It is not permissible to listen to music. Allah’s promise is true for those who fear Him: He will make a way out for them and provide for them from sources they could never imagine. Whoever pleases Allah, Allah will suffice him against people; but whoever angers Allah by seeking to please people, Allah will abandon him to them. Therefore, turn away from music.
