What is the ruling on working for an institution specialized in housing loans in America?

It is not permissible to work in financial institutions that deal with usurious loans, because the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, cursed the one who consumes Riba (usury), the one who feeds it, its scribe, and its two witnesses, and said, "they are all alike," because it is forbidden to aid in falsehood. A Muslim must seek what is lawful, for every soul will receive its full sustenance.
