How authentic is the Hadith of Du'a al-Najat (the Prayer of Deliverance) narrated on the authority of Anas ibn Malik, which begins with "Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim, Bismillahi Khairil Asma' (In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful; In the name of Allah, the Best of Names)"?

This Hadith, with this wording, has no basis as being مرفوع (traced directly) to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him. However, its meaning is sound and is composed of remembrances (adhkar), supplications (du'a), and Quranic verses. Some of its wordings were narrated by Al-Tabarani as mawquf (traced to a Companion) from Ibn Abbas, and were authenticated by Al-Albani and Al-Haythami.
