Is it permissible for the sacrificial animal (Udhiyah) to be a sheep whose hindquarters were cut at birth for the purpose of faster and better growth?

If "cutting the rear" means cutting off the entire tail, then the sacrifice is not valid according to the majority of scholars, but it is valid according to the Hanbalis. However, if what is cut off is only part of the tail, then there is a detailed explanation: according to the Shafi'is, the sacrifice is not valid if any part of the tail is cut off, whether a little or a lot. According to the Hanafis, if what is cut off is minor, it does not prevent validity due to the difficulty of avoiding it. According to the Malikis, it is not valid if one-third or more of it is cut off.
