Is the supplication, "O Disposer of hearts, dispose our hearts to Your obedience and the obedience of Your Messenger," a sound supplication?

The supplication "Allahumma sarrif qulubana 'ala ta'atika wa ta'ati rasulika" (O Allah, turn our hearts to Your obedience and the obedience of Your Messenger) has not been reported with this exact wording. Rather, what is authentically established is: "Allahumma Musarrif al-qulubi sarrif qulubana 'ala ta'atika" (O Allah, Turner of hearts, turn our hearts to Your obedience), narrated by Muslim and others. Nevertheless, the meaning of the aforementioned supplication is sound, and there is no harm in using it, because the obedience of the Messenger, peace and blessings be upon him, is part of the obedience of Allah Almighty, as He says: "And obey Allah and obey the Messenger." However, it is preferable to limit oneself to the reported supplications.
