What is the ruling on changing the color of the eyes through a laser procedure to unify their color when they differ by creation, or to change their color for what is believed to be its positive effect on social and professional interactions?

It is permissible to change the color of the eye with a laser if it is to correct a birth defect or to remove a deformity that causes psychological or physical harm, such as a difference in the color of the two eyes. However, if it is merely for beautification, it is not permissible because it alters the normal human creation.
