Does every blessing God bestows upon the son of Adam in this world diminish him in the Hereafter if he is among the people of Paradise?

An authentic narration from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) states that when a servant enjoys the luxuries of this world, it diminishes his ranks with Allah, even if Allah is generous to him. This is supported by the hadith narrated by Imam Ahmad in his Musnad, where the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to Mu'adh ibn Jabal when he sent him to Yemen: "And beware of luxury, for the servants of Allah are not those who live in luxury."
