What are the supplications (duas) by which a person's wishes, such as excelling in studies or getting married, are fulfilled?

The Sharia has indicated the importance of supplication (du'a), and that Allah answers His servant as long as he does not become impatient, as in the hadith: "The supplication of anyone of you is answered as long as he does not become impatient, saying: 'I supplicated but I was not answered.'" Therefore, the questioner must repent to Allah through supplication, seek the times when supplications are answered, and adhere to their conditions.
