Marriage is a preordained provision from Allah, and supplication (Du'a) is one of the most important means to achieve what is desired. There are no specific formulas for supplicating for marriage, and one can supplicate with phrases such as: "O Allah, I seek Your mercy, so do not abandon me to myself for the blink of an eye, and set all my affairs right for me. There is no god but You," and "O Allah, there is no ease except that which You make easy, and You make sorrow easy if You wish," and "O Ever-Living, O Sustainer, by Your mercy I seek assistance; set all my affairs right for me, and do not abandon me to myself for the blink of an eye." It is also recommended to fast to avoid falling into sin.
