What is the ruling on marrying an adulteress in Islam, and does it play a role in combating the crime of adultery, taking into consideration Allah Almighty's saying: (The fornicator does not marry except a [female] fornicator or polytheist, and none marries a [female] fornicator except a fornicator or polytheist, and that has been made unlawful for the believers)?

Marrying an adulterer or an adulteress can be a social remedy if the adulterer realizes that marriage is the correct path to chastity, and that the marital relationship is based on love, affection, and building a successful family, which leads to repentance. However, if the adulterer does not realize the gravity of his action and does not distinguish between marriage and adultery, he will continue to view marriage as a fleeting physical pleasure. This will not bring him stability and happiness; rather, it will lead to failure and divorce. Therefore, marriage to an adulterer or adulteress is not permissible unless they have repented.
