A young man is not permitted to drink the milk of a nursing mother without her permission, as this constitutes an aggression. If permission is granted, scholars have differed regarding the permissibility of drinking it: some allowed it provided it does not harm the infant, while others restricted it to cases of necessity. Still others permitted it absolutely, considering it pure like other types of milk, while others forbade it by analogy with animals whose meat is not eaten.
