Is cutting ties with her irreligious parents, out of fear of their negative influence on her marital life, considered disobedience, and what should she do to overcome feelings of hatred towards them?

Allah Almighty has made it obligatory to honor and be dutiful to one's parents, even if they are disbelievers. It is not permissible for a wife to cut ties with her family; rather, she must maintain kinship ties with them, honor them, visit them, inquire about them, and be patient with any harm they may inflict. For, the occurrence of ill-treatment from relatives does not negate their right to kinship ties. The husband should assist his wife in fulfilling this duty and encourage her to do so.
