The relationship between Arabs and the Children of Israel is that Ishmael, the ancestor of the Arabs, and Isaac, the ancestor of the Children of Israel, were brothers, both sons of Abraham. Jesus, peace be upon him, was from the progeny of Jacob son of Isaac son of Abraham; his mother Mary was from the Children of Israel and from the lineage of Solomon son of David. The family of Imran are the descendants of Imran, and they are from the progeny of Abraham.
