Is repentance that occurs upon sensing the approach of death considered sincere repentance?

The conditions for sincere repentance are: regretting the sin, resolving not to return to it, and abandoning it and its causes. These conditions are accepted as long as the soul has not reached the throat; based on the Prophet’s (peace be upon him) saying: "Indeed, Allah accepts the repentance of a servant as long as the soul has not gurgled." One must also rid themselves of injustices and regret what has passed; based on the Prophet’s (peace be upon him) saying: "Regret is repentance." It does not matter if the repentance occurred when death was near.
