What is the ruling on insuring with an international company whose original work is commercial insurance, and which operates in Saudi Arabia under the name of cooperative insurance, such as Bupa Arabia for Cooperative Insurance?

It is not permissible to subscribe to insurance with this company, because it is commercial insurance that is forbidden due to the presence of excessive gharar (uncertainty), devouring people's wealth unjustly, and other corruptions. Its adoption of the slogan of cooperation does not change its true nature in any way. The sin is upon the one who is compelled to enter into it.
