Is familial intermingling permissible between men and women in family gatherings such as Eids, including maternal uncles, their wives, and their children?

If family gatherings are free from suspicion, and the regulations of Islamic law are observed, such as avoiding private seclusion, women maintaining their hijab, and refraining from speaking in a soft and alluring manner, then there is no harm in them. It is preferable for family gatherings to be free from intermingling between non-mahrams, with a separate area for men and a separate area for women, to avoid the temptation that is feared from mixing.
