Is it permissible not to sleep in the bedroom due to marital problems?
It is not permissible for a Muslim woman to abandon her husband's bed and sleep outside the marital chamber without his consent, due to the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "If a woman spends the night abandoning her husband's bed, the angels curse her until she wakes up."
This is unless the abandonment is justified, such as his withholding of obligatory maintenance, or if the husband initiated the abandonment, oppressing her.
Both spouses are advised to foster love, overlook mistakes, and hasten to reconcile, based on what Al-Tabarani narrated from the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him): "Shall I not inform you about your women who are among the people of Paradise? The affectionate, the fertile, the one who returns to her husband [after a dispute], who, if she harms or is harmed, comes and takes her husband's hand and says: 'By Allah, I shall not taste sleep until you are pleased.'"
