What is the ruling on using Snapchat filters that enhance the appearance of the face or change eye color, and on using ordinary filters such as black and white? And am I sinful if my edited photos are not deleted by others after I have requested them to do so?

It is forbidden to modify pictures if it involves altering the creation of the photographed subject, such as enlarging the nose or reducing the mouth, or adding filters that make one resemble animals, or men resemble women, or vice-versa. However, merely changing the lighting or color of a picture is not prohibited. You bear no sin if your relatives do not dispose of your pictures they possess.
