If the amount is deposited in the bank as the price of an apartment or a portion of its price and is handed over to the seller, then is not obligatory on it, provided that it has exited your ownership and entered the ownership of the seller. However, if the money is still owned by you and was placed as a guarantee or pledge, or to accumulate the price of the apartment, then Zakat is obligatory on it if it reaches the and a hawl (full lunar year) has passed over it.
