What is the ruling on excessively publishing phrases and images expressing sadness over the death of a mother or father on social media, and is this considered an exaggeration of calamities?

Grieving the death of a relative is permissible. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, grieved the death of his relatives and companions. However, excessive and repeated mention of the deceased, especially after a long time has passed, may suggest a lack of contentment with Allah's decree and renew grief. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, forbade elegies, which involve recounting the virtues of the deceased with weeping or composing poetry about them, if this indicates displeasure, or if people gather for it, or if it is done excessively, or if it renews grief. Excessive mention of the deceased may fall under this prohibition.
