Imam al-Bukhari named his book: "Al-Jami' al-Sahih al-Musnad al-Mukhtasar min Hadith Rasul Allah (SAW) wa Sunanihi wa Ayyamih" (The Abridged, Authentic, and Supported Collection of the Sayings of the Messenger of Allah (SAW), His Traditions, and His Campaigns). He also named it: "Al-Jami' al-Sahih al-Musnad al-Mukhtasar min Umuri Sayyidina Rasul Allah (SAW) wa Sunanihi wa Ayyamih" (The Abridged, Authentic, and Supported Collection of the Affairs of Our Master, the Messenger of Allah (SAW), His Traditions, and His Campaigns).
