What is the ruling regarding a husband's negligence in performing prayers on time due to the fluctuating nature of his work and heavy sleep, despite his remorse and desire to change? And is the wife sinful if she does not wake him after despairing of waking him?

Work does not permit delaying prayer beyond its appointed time, and sleep does not excuse a Muslim unless he has taken the means to wake up and was then overcome by sleep. A wife waking her husband for prayer is commendable, and it becomes obligatory when time is short. The husband must repent for delaying prayers and hasten to attend Friday prayer from the beginning of the sermon. If someone is overcome by sleep and misses any of that, there is no sin upon him.
