Is it permissible to remove a blind cat that causes problems and attacks anyone who approaches it?

First: Islamic law encourages kindness to humans and animals. There are specific texts that address kindness to animals and the great reward associated with it, and it prohibits using animals as targets for amusement through killing.

Second: If a person acquires a pet, they must feed it or allow it to find its own sustenance. If the animal is unable to do so, such as a blind cat, feeding it becomes obligatory, unless it is capable of fending for itself and finding its own sustenance, in which case one has the choice between feeding it or releasing it.

Third: If the cat is harmful and causes damage, it is permissible to get rid of it, even if it leads to its harm, as long as its harm cannot be repelled except by expelling or removing it.
