What is the meaning and ruling regarding the phrase "Bloom as if the sun rises for you," and is it permissible to propagate it?
The phrase encourages optimism and action towards what benefits one in the future, and abandoning sorrow over the past. It likens a person to a flower that blossoms at sunrise. This meaning does not contradict Islamic law (), as good omens (al-fa'l al-) are a form of having a good opinion of Allah, and the Prophet, peace be upon him, loved them. The Prophet, peace be upon him, said: "There is no evil omen (tīra), and the best of it is al-fa'l (good omen)." Al-fa'l is defined as "the good word one of you hears." Furthermore, persisting in good deeds, being resolute in them, and avoiding laziness are part of the guidance of Islamic law. The Prophet, peace be upon him, said: "The strong believer is better and more beloved to Allah than the weak believer... Be keen on what benefits you, seek help from Allah, and do not be helpless. If something befalls you, do not say, 'If only I had done such and such, it would have been so and so,' but rather say, 'It is the decree of Allah, and He does what He wills,' for 'if only' opens the door to Satan's work."
